Product Overview¶
The RS-EMON3P is a DIN-rail mounted 3-phase energy monitoring solution from RACKSYNC. It combines the Eastron SDM630MCT-RC precision energy meter with flexible Rogowski coil current sensors (ESCT-RC series) and an integrated ESP32-C3 IoT controller running Tasmota firmware. The system delivers comprehensive electrical measurement with secure wireless connectivity, designed for straightforward deployment in industrial and commercial electrical distribution panels.
The SDM630MCT-RC meter provides high-accuracy measurement of voltage, current, power, energy, power factor, frequency, and total harmonic distortion across all three phases. The Rogowski coil inputs accommodate conductor sizes from 18 mm up to 85 mm, making the system suitable for retrofit installations where traditional solid-core CTs cannot be fitted. The ESP32-C3 controller bridges the meter's RS485 Modbus RTU interface to Wi-Fi, publishing real-time readings via MQTT with TLS encryption and supporting Home Assistant auto-discovery for immediate integration into building automation systems.
